I always tell my clients that all exercise is medicine, but strength training is the real miracle drug. And when it comes to fitness, I truly believe that it’s the fountain of youth, right? Because as we age, we lose muscle mass and bone density. We also begin to experience a decrease in hormones, which can lead to weight gain and a loss of energy.
Strength training helps to counteract all of these effects of aging. Building muscle mass, improving, do bone density and boosting hormones. Additionally, strength training has been shown to improve brain function and increase lifespan. In other words, fitness isn’t just good for your body, it’s good for your mind and your soul as well.
